The Bronze Report had the pleasure of celebrating the 7th anniversary of San Francisco's Museum of the African Diaspora -- or MoAD -- with hundreds of friends and supporters at San Francisco's Palace Hotel.

MoAD showcases the art, literature, dance, music... the enormous wealth of cultural treasure that exists thanks to the dispersal of Africans throughout the world.

Visit this unique, one-of-a-kind museum and you'll understand we are all from the same place -- and that place is Africa.  As the museum's executive director, Grace C. Stanislaus told TBR's Jan Mabry, "When we acknowledge that Africa is a source, when we acknowledge that our ancestral history started there, it means there are barriers and boundaries that automatically come down... we share a common ancestry and a common humanity, and that can only be a good thing."
